Nuisance call from a supposed law firm relating to a collision which never occurred. Hung up when I started to ask questions.

Call was from a busy office environment, seemed well spoken, we exchanged "Hellos" and he hung up. No idea.

My mum received a call at 9.00pm on Tuesday from an aggressive foreign man wanting to talk to her about the car accident she had had. He was a fraudster and a scammer and because my mum did not know that such people existed she asked him what accident he was talking about and proceeded to tell him about an accident that I had had last year and one that my mum and dad had had about ten years ago. Automated caller stating that my internet was to be disconnected as it had been compromised in several countries. I was advised to press 1 to be connected to an advisor who would then help me to change my IP provider ! This is not the first time I have had a call like this but from 2 different numbers.On the first occasion I ignored it and contacted my provider on that occasion who told me that it was a scam. I m sure this is one also.

Indian callers claim to be from windows.they will tell you your computer has been sending them error reports.they then ask you to turn your computer on and then tell you how to fix the problem.they get you to switch on remote access.then they control your computer and have access to all bank,credit card and password details that have been entered.NEVER DO THIS !!! please report to your local police
