Unknown number rude strange accent in noisy room not introducing himself asking to confirm my identity immediately and twisted my very simple 4 letters surname terribly, I cut off the connection. I wish someone could stop these scammers time wasters who want only money in any possible way.

called today. Sainsburys bank fraud department
This number is used by an Oven-Cleaning service - I tried to use them a couple of years ago but they would never come when I wanted them to. After getting my money back from the bank I told them that I did not want their services any more. Since then I have received literally hundreds of calls, all saying that they would like to confirm a time and date for their visit - I have asked them to stop but they are relentless. I have also blocked various numbers, at least 20 but they still call.
