Part of the ongoing automated call scams. When answering the call, there is a split second blimp where the automated answer kicks in. Not even a human on the other end. Someone needs to trace the number to the property which rang it and cut their lines.

Call centre noise in background. Caller asked for "Mr or Mrs *my surname*" I asked who's calling, she said they're caling about the Health & Safety check for the loft insulation. Complete fiction. I told them they had the wrong number and to remove it from their system. Obvious data phishing scam.

Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

unhelpful, rude, annoying, unsolicited calls to number(s) already registered with TPS (I ve escalated a formal complaint via TPS). When I returned the call, I too got the answering machine "this number can t take incoming calls" so called them on 0800 069 9303. they confirmed that they re Debt Masters Direct but wouldn t tell me how they got my number or why they were ringing me. Hi, I got a text from this number (+44 311 46) which had my name on it and it’s from someone who I don’t know and the number I don’t recognise. May be dangerous but more times than not I don’t answer numbers I don’t recognise.
