received the same message as the other people posting here, asking to call 0844 571 5190 and quote exactly the same reference number: 778660. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.

It s a well known scam. Don t bother calling them back. The number might appear to be normal geographic but they might have rigged it to charge you premium rate.

This number called my mobile and I returned the call from my landline and withheld my number. They said that they had in fact received a call from this number (I withheld the number) I found this strange that someone was in my house and called them, must have been my dog that called her?!?
