Attempt at scam - purporting to be HMRC

Had a call from this number and they knew my name but said I was working for someone else in the area I live. Concerned that they have my details.

Agressive rude caller demanding to speak with Directors. Promises of business rates reductions. Informed them we were registered with TPS to prevent nusiance calls and was told that the Directors had requested the call. I know this is untrue. DO NOT ACCEPT CALSS FROM THIS SCAMMER.

Only the bad ones need a police check. I do not have their number but it can be looked up. They do not charge for admin or so their information states. Accident claims fraud ("we ve been informed you were in an accident" when you weren t). I have been registered with TPS for nearly 2 yrs so by these idiots ringing my mobile ... they broke the law. I filed a complaint with ICO. She was a very well spoken English young lady.

My phone rang and when I answered there was no one there. I suspect the Talk Talk scam people.

Genuine survey company doing government funded research. Got some numbers at the end to verify they are legit. If you re complaining about the state of the country but not willing to partake in research to help improve it then stop moaning!! TNS are a genuine company. The survey did not take very long- i don t see why people are getting so angry?

Indian callers claim to be from windows.they will tell you your computer has been sending them error reports.they then ask you to turn your computer on and then tell you how to fix the problem.they get you to switch on remote access.then they control your computer and have access to all bank,credit card and password details that have been entered.NEVER DO THIS !!! please report to your local police
