Ignored but just as phone began to ring I received a one-time-passcode from O2. This is a well known scam, they ask for the passcode, then use the passcode to enter your account, lock you out, order new handsets etc. and leave you with the £1,500 bill for a new iPhone. Don't let these cunts catch you out and warn your less fraud-savvy relatives
TAXES / HMRC Automated call Fraud Scam I had this number ring me an auto message started about 9seconds in and saying its from HMRC then it cut out mid sentence. I rang back the number a good couple of times and keeps telling me phone is switched off. Not sure if its a scam/fraud

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based, Indian company masking the no to a local city!!

02037947484 called 01Sept2023 at 10:29hrs. Caller did not leave a message.
Call center fed up with this number calling so I answered. Says they were from triage Housing about cavity wall insulation that we had and they can get us compensation. Told them we didn't have it so he progressed to to say the Government site said we did and how did i know that we didn't and they weren't trying to sell anything. I told them it was newly renovated and remove me from their calling list or I would report as a nuisance call. He hung up

They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Suspected Spam warning on my (smart call function) number recognition. I do not know anyone from Northern Irland; neither I was expecting any call at the moment. I accepted but kept my silence, and silence was maintained on the other side as well. It seems to be an autonomous call dial (voice recognition) to check if anyone answers and consequently confirm that numbers are actively being used by potential victims. There were no further attempts to call my number nor any voice or text messages afterwards.
