Completed an online quotation and have been bombarded with calls since. I advised them I was no longer interested due to their pushy sales techniques on the phone and I would proceed with BUPA. Despite this and after blocking their number they are still calling from different numbers. Relates to a dodgy car trader... aggressive in getting the sale and as soon as you need the support they don’t want to know!
Just received a call from this number, they rang off before l could answer, but didn't dial the number back. Seems to be a lot of scam calls from 08000 numbers to the UK. You'd think the Gov'ment would tackle this harassing, persistent issue so many of us have to experience on a daily basis of upto 6 times a day

Calling at 8.40pm. Had a number of calls over the past 2 weeks. Said we ve registered for TPS, asked them to remove our number and they still call. The foreign person on the other end refuses to tell me their company name. I got annoyed and told him where to go and hung up only to be called 2 minutes later telling me I m not a nice person!

Claimed it was an officer from HM customs and I could face serious consequences if I didn’t return the call which is time sensitive. Scam I’m guessing as I don’t believe I’m in any trouble with customs.

SCAM!!! Received a call from this number and I was advised a debit had been made on my VISA card for £900 Asked female her name, (illegible) Owen. Asked her for her office address to verify her legitimacy as I was online at the time. Gave me address for BT HQ in London. Started telling me quite abruptly to check it, hurry up, go check it and so forth and then went into a barrage of offensive swearing and abuse from her. She then terminated the call.
This number called 3 times today someone claiming to be Dave from Windows Technical. We hung up first time then my wife answered and said thank you for your concern and how kind he was for notifying her there was a problem she would take the computer into the shop. Third time I answered and he said my computer ewas at risk as it had been hacked and my life could be in danger. Asian voice called me claiming to be from EE, offering 40% off charges. I could see it was an Inverness number so said I didn't believe he was from EE, at which point he said I could fcuk myself! Number now blocked.
