Received unsolicited calls from 0114 319 0673 even though I m signed up to the telephone preference service. Looks like they are faking their outgoing number which means they must be scammers. Don t bother answering or calling back.

HMRC scam. Told me I was being taken to court for tax fraud but could avoid this by paying them 4k. I had to go to my bank and open an account and make it available to them.

This number called my mobile and I returned the call from my landline and withheld my number. They said that they had in fact received a call from this number (I withheld the number) I found this strange that someone was in my house and called them, must have been my dog that called her?!? She said was it to do with gas? I think this is a scam telephone number.

These people are phoning me from 8.30am until late at night, asking if im me and going through security questions to verify who i am. I tell them ive already spoken to someone but i have to go through the same old crap four or five times a day. My property was repossessed in 2010, by the bank who then put touchstone in charge and they let the property through an estate agent, during this time someone they let the property too ran up a bill with Scottish power. Caller claimed to be fron accident investigation unit and wanted to know about an accident to someone on my phone number. When asked where he got the information he said the road safety authority. This is an authority in Ireland dealing with Irish roads. I an in England!!
