I received an unsolicited call to my personal mobile, which started with the announcement that the person was "Molly" and then gave a surname and company, and went on to ask about an accident "in which you were innocent". The "person" or computer voice (I was unsure) did not answer my questions about where they got my number and kept persisting about an accident. Just had a call from this number 001-979-823-4079. Guy with poor english said the files on my Windows computer were infected by a download of infected files. Wanted to speak to the owner of the PC. After stringing him along for a while I told him to get lost as it was a scam. He hung up.

Was called by this number out of the blue saying I can sign up for Amazon Prime for £7.99 per month. I have always decried Prime activation and have in the past asked Amazon to disable Prime on my login. This has been that way for a couple of years now, but this has started again. It was an automatic message call.

The lady I spoke to was extremely polite and friendly and offered me a ?6 discount a month on my home Broadband package PLUS 1500 minutes Anytime mobile minutes a month. I was paying ?6 a month more for landline calls only so a great saving. If you are a loyal EE customer I advise people to answer this call

SCAM Claimed to be from BT and asked. Indian gentleman telling me that my internet line was not performing and asked me to read the numbers from the hub. Told him that I did not think that he was from BT and he persisted and asked again. Rang off when I asked him if he thought that I was idiot.
Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.
