It s a well known scam. Don t bother calling them back. The number might appear to be normal geographic but they might have rigged it to charge you premium rate.

SCAM tried to rip my parents off. Pretending to be my sister in the form of a text message. They said she in desperate need of £1000 to pay an overdue bill! Do not respond to these wicked people.
They were trying to sell me shares in a forthcoming flotation. I said where u get my number..he kept changing the subject. I was driving but on Bluetooth, I said I am not interested, he said I HOPE YOU CRASH THE CAR AND DIE SIR. And hung up ...I am taking this further
They are a company called A Shade Greener - solar panels company as a result of a customer service call made a few weeks ago

Fraud / Scam............... States they're from BT with alarming call that your router is faulty and that your internet line is public. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.

SCAM CALLER!! Automated call scam telling you you have a warrant out for your arrest and you must press 1 to call them back otherwise the police will come and arrest you. I did not fall for it but very worrying and sickening for those more naive.

They said that they had in fact received a call from this number (I withheld the number) I found this strange that someone was in my house and called them, must have been my dog that called her?!? Call received 10.31 hours on Wednesday, 23rd June 2017. No message received, so I didn t pick up the phone. I don t recognise this number and don t want to speculate with no further information. Suspicious of those who will not leave a message and Dorset is a high scam area in the UK. Better to be cautious.

This number claimed to be Perren Consultants - no it isn't. Think it was a scam
Received call 13.02.21 from someone claiming to be from BT. Said there had been an issue reported regarding the router and it would be disconnected. Played along for a while to try and get more info. Asked for the name of the manager so I could check the call was genuine. After several attempts they gave a name of Shaun Williams! Caller was foreign. Definitely a scam. BT are not my internet service provider! It is not their router! How would they know if there was a problem with my router! Reported to BT
