I received a call from the number: 01274792327. They have said my computer is slow and needs to have software updated and will cost me ?250.00 The caller was acting to be windows when they was not. They was giving false names. I did not give any bank card details or any payment because this is a SCAM. Do not give any bank details, computer serial number, etc. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION OR THE INSTRUCTIONS OF CONNECTING YOUR SCREEN WITH THEIRS AS THEY WILL HACK YOU.

Missed call. No idea who's number this is as never seen the caller's number before. I've never had this caller before to my mobile number, just that I've never answered landline numbers because they sting the credits on my mobile phone hence why I won't pick up. Called today saying it was EE. The lady I spoke to was extremely polite and friendly and offered me a ?6 discount a month on my home Broadband package PLUS 1500 minutes Anytime mobile minutes a month. I was paying ?6 a month more for landline calls only so a great saving. If you are a loyal EE customer I advise people to answer this call

Silent no message left.

Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.

I received two calls from them yesterday, they hung up.....got a call today, picked it up immediately and a chap said he was from Ideal World....having seen the comments here he asked to speak to me. I said "hold the line, I ll get her for you" Then left him hanging on for 15 mins.....went back, he was still there, I said "hold on I ll get her for you" left him another 15 mins...then I hung up hahhhhaa......if you don t put the phone down, they can t use the phone until you do apparently?

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from.
