A phone call from Amazon saying £79.00 coming out of bank account i haven t even got a account with them get these calls 2 to 3 times a day. Just hand up.

Hourly calls received for 2 days so far, after I stupidly entered my correct phone number on an insurance comparison site (Quotezone - avoid at all costs). Ive never answered the calls and am unable to block them on my current phone or via my call provider, so I m buying a phone which has call barring on it. Ridiculous to think I have to do that, but I cant be doing with hourly calls, since yesterday and starting today, Saturday morning at 9.10am.

Debt collector. Had been receiving calls daily. Finally answered and they asked for my address and dob! Hung up and did research on the company. Called them back as I didn t think I had any debts. Gave them my details, but they had my old address. Confirmed that. They rang me today lady with a strong asian accent, knew my name and postcode. (I didn t tell them they was correct with my name etc) when I ask who they was she gave a name I didn t believe. When I ask what the company was, she replied with f##k you and hung up. Absolute morons!!!!!

Be carefull They use different numbers!! They give you a return number that is invalid. Waste their time - keep them on hold as long as possible. Then block their number.

allegedly from Talk Talk..asian man..said there was problem with my router !! told him I was with BT, that I knew he was a scammer and hung up. He then rang back repeatedly..I just answered and hung up again immediately. Reported to ofcom, ICO and Action Fraud.
