Looks like they decided to change tactic and now called me today pretending to be "BT Internet Desk" and that suspicious activity was detected on my line and they were going to disconnect my phone and internet. My internet isn't through BT and if disconnecting my line meant I'd stop getting cold called, I'd gladly welcome it. SCAM

Keep getting calls from this company about employment services. They call themselves Zenith and claim they are a law firm. Cold calling from a law firm, is that allowed?
Calling from India so TPS cannot do anything very aggressive and rude but no one will stop them they just rent a new UK number

Scam call from HMRC. Recorded message stating that I have been involved in tax fraud. If I don't press 1 to speak to an officer, I will be arrested shortly.
Says located in Wolverhampton but operating from South East Asia!!! At outset of call assured me that would be the last time he would ever call me. We ll see - because it wasn t the first and I have demanded no further calls previously.

When I answered and gave my number, a female voice said, "hello." and then terminated the call. Further research revealed that this ignorant nuisance called from SWITCHGATE UK LTD., Jean Paen, Mr Peter, 340 Bancroft Road, London, England, E1 4BU.
