Scammer. Tried to tell me I was involved in a criminal case involving tax fraud.
Someone just called me on this number. I could hardly understand a word he said - he was shouting over a lot of noise in the background. He said he was from the NHS and wanted to discuss Covid symptoms so I asked him what the first digit of my NHS number is and he hung up. Called 2100hrs which worried my wife as she has a very elderly mother. I have no debts.
Caller fraudulently advised he was from my bank, wanting my security details, which I declined to give. He advised he was cancelling my debit card, and could not send me a new one without those details, and that a fraudulent purchase had been made with my card. Hung up, and phoned my bank, who advised it was an attempt to steal my card details. Beware, never give out details unless you have made the call to a verified number.Fraud
