Had a missed call so called back and promptly put into a queue for next available agent. Presume it is telemarketing and have blocked the number.
SCAM Another call pretending I had cover for washing machine. I was supposed to have already paid for 2 installments and they would debit me for 3rd. Had last 4 numbers of card and outdated password which I know is useless!

Said they were from Talktalk investigating a problem with my internet connection and wanted to know the number of devices I was using - Hung up!
Had one of these as well as a noisy workplace call. Told them I didn't and hung up. Plus, I just had a call that was pre recorded and said "go-oo-oo-oo-ood byeeee...
Seemed very suspicious to me. As I have a contact in Scotland I rang it back immediately and a woman answered, asked who I wanted to speak to, said she had just come in and insisted the call did not come from her number and quickly hung up when i advised her to contact her phone provider.
