Told me recieving messages indicating my "Microsoft" computer was infected with virus. When I asked who my internet provider was, they hung up - surprise! Had intended to keep them as many awkward questions as poss, before accusing them of lying. Have complained previously to BT, who only want to charge me to put a block on nuisance calls!
automated call of someone sounding very official and slighty scary saying that there was a report of abuse related to my NI number and to press 1 to avoid being arrested - i did not press 1 but it was not pleasant. No name given etc etc.
Received an email regarding an outstanding balance on my former energy provider account which is bull*** since they actually owed me money for 3 months after the account closed.
Tried calling them but you end up in a queue and then either get cut off or just sit there listening to a call centre recording. i.e. lots of people taking calls but none of them are talking to you!

Called asking for payment for my buffer account with Talk Talk. Had all my details, including who I bank with (I did not give or confirm), so no reason to think not Talk Talk. Gave him my safety password (as only Talk Talk should have) and he tried to get me to pay buffer by card over phone. Told me I wouldn t be able to make calls if it wasn t paid. Told him I was well aware of my buffer as I had set it up and it was fine. Very persistent...pushy. Had to tell him 3 times it was paid via direct debit,
I believe these are fraudsters trying to sign you up to pay money for non existent leads and customers and trap you into rollover contracts that you have to cancel on day one of contract start. They are currently saying they are working on behalf of Unite (union) but it could be for any big body of employees or group NHS, Fire Dept, and there are hundreds of potential customers - IF I CAN GIVE ANY HELP IT WOULD BE TO SAY STAY AWAY FROM THESE TYPE OF UNSOLICITED CALLS
i personally dont answer calls that i dont recognise but this number has called me numeriously and its getting really annoying
iv blocked the number now but its def a debt advice centre based in darlington
Sounded Chinese but couldn't tell a word they were saying. Passed onto several others with similar language problems. Very persistent and carried on when I suggested they were scammers, didn't stop till I put the phone down
