Got a message "HMRC-Alert: Overpaid tax assessments are due by 17th April. To check if you have overdue tax waiting to be paid please visit our website hmrc.uk-returns.co". It's obviously a SCAM.

Answered but immediate hang up at the other end.
It was my employer Asda phoning me to do overtime. Asda has a new telephone system now which the local store phone number comes up as Asda House @Leeds.

Called me and hung up immediately the ansaphone cut in. Tried calling them back but got a message that the number dialled had not been recognised. I suspect that it s a Skype type call from a foreign country - they usually come up with a number that looks like a uk STD code but could be from anywhere in the world.
SCAM
Received calls purporting to be Talk Talk but concerned that now getting calls from uk type numbers.
Received a call from this number and when I answered it, I heard the person slam the phone down. I figured they had hung up thinking it was going to vmail so decided to call it back. A man answered and when I told him someone had just called me, he asked if I was a business. I asked him to tell me who they were first and he said, "Tut oh.." Then hung up!
Is a possibility for a scam is related with 01292280409 scam for PPI claims
No idea who it is - keeps calling and then I answered and then they hung up
