Missed call
020 3289 9210 called me around 9am today. It was an automated / computer voice saying that I, or my lawyer, need to contact them PRETENDING TO BE HMRC urgently, regarding tax evasion. I was immediately suspicious - HMRC would not make contact like this and I am not evading tax. I checked out the number and realised it was connected to similar fraudulent activity. I reported it to Action Fraud (the police).

Can these calls from 020 numbers not be stopped? I didn't answer as presumed it would be yet another "accident" call. This number will be blocked along with the many others from "020" already blocked. We are TPS and ex-directory, where do they get our numbers from? Reckon it's about time these people were traced and put out of business once and for all as they are a real pain!

Had Phone call from this number regarding Electrical System Insurance. When I said that I already had it, the female caller said 'I know and it is £180.00 per annum and because you have not claimed for three years we are going to reduce it'. At one I knew it was most likely scam and pressed my "Block Now' button.
