Automated call SPAM SCAM Telemarketing
This was a scammer who pretended to be from BT talking about illegal access to your broadband.!! That's rich!! Hacked my bank account and Amazon a/c. It took ages-up to 5 days to clear this mess up and it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If someone had asked me last night if the death penalty was appropriate for scammers, I would have agreed. Now thinking about it castration without anaesthetic would be better.
claims to be from some HR company mumbled refused to say what it was they actually wanted. We are a small charity and the person dealing with HR not in & I explained I wasn't willing to pass details on unless they told me what their company actually wanted/did still just mumbled his own name & insisted he'd ring back. Call centre noise in background.

Received a text saying:" Mum my screen has brokenand its not working. Can you text my new number xxxxx..xx"
got a text msg asking to update my bank details for my3 to avoid termination
This number comes up on caller display as OUR own landline number on - OUR landline!!!
SCAM txt to say you have been in contact with covid, get a test. Puts you through to a fake website and wants a pound for the tests. Looks real, done like an nhs website, very clever but fake just the same

Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. Judging by other reviews, they’re looking scam money from you. This is a new direction. SCAM
I’ve had a message today ( looks like half the country has as well ) from this number which I believe is a scam. It states my delivery was delivered yet I have no deliveries exited. I would not open this message just delete it.
Asian accent claiming to be from EE,cut him short as he was difficult to understand,suspect it was a scam call

Said there had been unusual withdrawals from my bank account, one for £800. Never asked my name, never said which bank. Put the phone down.
I answered this number and music was playing, I hung up, I don’t talk to music. My guess is that it was a call centre.
SCAM
Please be extremely careful if you pick up your phone as it’s LOCAL number because I’ve had lots of these calls that I don’t answer & it’s impossible to phone back because you get the number you have Dialled has not been Recognised. It’s definitely a Sophisticated Scamming System.
