Solicited call regarding holiday home ownership
SCAM Said they are from the carphone warehouse. I've literally never bought anything from the carphone warehouse, so I hung up on them.
I ve now asked this number twice to stop calling me. Call me almost every day. They insist they are calling on behalf of 02 but 02 say they don t pass any mobile numbers onto third parties. If I continue to keep getting calls then I will leave 02 as I can t block numbers on my phone. 02 not much help when I spoke to them. Call is about offer on tariffs.

My dad who is 89 got a call from this number and they started by saying 'I know you have dementia ' my dad put phone down. Really angry
Scam, said my washing machine insurance had run out. Not the first time this has happened. Told him to get on his bike (that's the polite version!)
Telltale slight delay before speaking and noisy bustling background - asked for me by full birth certificate name which is just weird. Hung up. Thought these were banned now???

These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility. TPS is useless against these calls.
