Caller knew who to ask for and address. Tried to call back but line just went dead. Said they were from police so I called the police and they said the number doesn t exist / is not a police number!

Im confused about these. I answered a call yesterday when I was at work. She said she was from virgin and needed to discuss my account. She wouldn t say why or give any indication as to what the call was about until I went through a security check.
