Scottish Scammers. They use various names, usually "Green Deal Financing", usually talking about double glazing. They won t give out any identifying information and will hang up if questioned. I now keep a VERY loud dog whistle by my phone, whenever they call they are getting an ear full.
Very rude. Very bad. Wouldn’t tell me who was calling. Just wanted me to confirm my name with a yes or no. When I would not say yes or no and just kept asking who was calling, she said well you can piss off! and put the phone down on me. Don’t ever say yes or no on the phone - they record it and use it as approval for trying to get into accounts etc.
Found that this number calls me around diner time. When answered no one introduces himself, you can just hear heavy breathing

Received a call from this unrecognised number after coming back from holiday to remind me of an appointment which hadn t been received by letter. I would otherwise have missed an important hospital appointment.

Just had a call from what sounded like an Indian lady, confirmed my name and postcode and said she was phoning from Nationwide, I said I would hang up and phone Nationwide myself, at that point she hung up.
