Fake number, doesn't exist. Local number so answered, was trying to flog energy switching.
THis is A Plan Van Insurance ringing you to say your van insurance is due. When you ask them for the van registration and due date they wont know, because they are cold calling you hoping you have a van! You could spend a while winding them up with fake registration plates and getting them to chase around. I dont even have a van, I have not had van insurance with A Plan, so its garbage what they say
I received a txt msg saying about recruiting for Avon. I haven’t enquired about Avon and don’t wish to do so. Thought I’d check the number , it shows on the map that it comes from Russian Federation Bryansk Region. Also on the txt is says Stop to unsubscribe, I’m going to delete as I haven’t subscribed to anything ,so think this may be a scam, better to be safe .

My 81 year old mother was duped into giving her bank details to pay 4 instalments against an annual fee to stop nuisance calls, something that is free with the telephone preference service. We have tried calling this number to cancel the "contract" but the line is dead. Mum s bank have blocked the company, so that no further payments can be made.
