SCAM caller says from BT saying ip address has gone private and want me to set up something using TOR.which triggered alarms sounded plausible and rather insistent. checked phone number here and thought it unlikely bt had a call center in Russia told them i would phone bt myself and they hung up

Called my mobile 6 times yesterday and I answered it today and I had an Indian gentleman asked me something and I had to get him to repeat himself and I think it was a survey I blocked the number and have now been called by another number but no-one there

This number has called several times now. They never leave a msg.

Just received an automated call from this number which I believe its a scam. It claims to be HMRC and ask you to press 1 to speak to someone. Don't.

This is the latest in a string of nuisance calls, all from different numbers, which have been plaguing me for the last 24 hours. The connection terminates just after the phone is answered, and there is no sign that there is anyone at the other end.

I decided to answer and an Indian lady said she was from the "debt investigation department" . Apparently some government sceme to reduce your debt by 30-40%. I declined and hung up. Now blocked.
