The caller was an automated voice claiming to be the HMRC. I was told that legal action was being taken against me for tax evasion and that I needed to press 1 on the keypad to get more information. Claimed to be from The Pensions Service and said he had details that my pension had not be reviewed for the past 6 months. I asked him how he would have this information and surprise - surprise the phone went dead.
SCAM / SPAM I got a tekstmessage urging me to pay a bill within 2 days. Otherwise my caravan would be taken away. But I have no unpayed bills.

Three times in last 24 hrs just annoying scam saying calling from BT internet a load of rubbish just put the phone down.
I picked up the phone to be asked to confirm my name and address. I was informed that this was to send me a cheque for some sort of overpayment. I was also told that the caller was from the UK Financial Services. I asked for clarification about the "overpayment", suspecting a scam, and the phonecall was terminated. The caller had a heavy far Eastern (Oriental) accent and I could hear was a lot of other phone conversations going on in the background. This is obviously some sort of scam.

An automated voicemail left on mobile. Claiming to be from HMRC and requesting that I call back and if they do not hear from me or my solicitor, they will take legal action.
