Rang saying getting cheque for 3K for PPI but wanted ?300 gift card before handing money over. They rang several times to ask if got card so when wife home she answered and asked for company registration number from vague response was clearly a scam to get money.
Unsolicited call. The caller claimed to be my policy advisor. I asked what company and what policy. All I got in response was "i'm your policy advisor". I hung up. 15 second call. Definite scam. Please do NOT give anyone calling from this number any information. Fraud Claiming to say that my National Insurance number has been compromised with a quite ropey sounding automated message, which surprise surprise it asks you to press 1 to speak to someone and no doubt hand over your details. Using different mobile numbers from EE so likely using burner phones etc.
