SCAM - no listing or company attributed to this number. Answered the call to long silence then they hung up. Suspect this is a phishing/scam caller with a faked UK location number. Treat with caution if you answer to this number. I have blocked the caller.
Call from India, saying they were from 'British Telecom' to let us know our internet speed was down. Wanted me to check on my 'device' to see what my reading said. Then asked whether it was a portable or a desktop. I questioned if that was relevant. Then asked if it were a business or personal device. At which point I said again, I don't think that's relevant. And then, they hung up. So I would say that it was a fishing cold call pretending to be BT. She did offer to give her 'id number', so be wary.
Some people keep ringing me by saying “My national insurance number is on the verge of being suspended” I recieve multiple calls daily that all somehow have the number “999” in it. Its weird as they always have different automated voices but say the same things.
