Lady called my parents from the Caller Complaint Service saying she could stop their nuisance calls for £3 a month. My elderly father refused to give his bank details but the lady said she already had them so he just needed to confirm them and as she sounded plausible he did. He then got another all about a direct debit payment for £198.99 from a company called Eazipay. A few days later he received a letter from Caller Complaint Service and one from eazipay detailing the direct debit details. He realised it

Opening comment was to ask me about my "recent car accident". I laughed and said goodbye. Block the number if you can.
Multiple calls this morning, I did not answer, no message left - tried calling number back and get unobtainable tone - would treat as very suspicious if you cannot call the number that called you. Have blocked it now.
SCAM - Recorded message..."You are being prosecuted for tax evasion" Press 1 for more info, etc.

Phoned yet again. They just don t take no as an answer. That I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service doesn t seem to bother them. Please stop wasting my time!
CALLED BY A F0RIEGN ACSENTED LADY PROMESSING 3,000 INCOME TAX REFUND FOR MY AGED FATHER.THEY WILL SEND A MAN TO YOUR HOUSE WITH A CHEQUE. YOU BANK IT. WAIT FOR THE CHEQUE TO CLEAR AND THEN PAY THEM 130.00 TAX. NO ONE CAME ROUND WHEN I SAID I ALSO LIVE AT SAME ADDRESS. BETWEEN ALL THIS I CHECKED THE CALLING PHONE NUMBER AND IT EMINATED FROM FRANCE.
