Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Clearly a scam.
You can't stop them as they originate outside the UK. Just tell these callers to Foxtrot Oscar.

SCAM This Number called today at 8am, an automated Message stating it was from the Inland Revenue and if I didn't press option and co-operate there would be a warrant out for my arrest! this is clearly a scam, I called the number back and it was discontinued

Ping call. Rings several times, several times a day, drops when picked up. Fraud, Spam, Scam all fits.
Stop phoning me and trying to scam me pretending you are from Amazon. I've reported you to the police who have traced you!!!
Allegedly from National Crime Agency reporting fraudulent use of my National Insurance number . This was a pre-recorded message stating that unless I pressed 1 to speak to an agent , my NI number would be frozen .
