Man with cultured and friendly Asian accent rang from "Ministry of Justice" (on challenge claimed address 233 Regent Street). Claimed to have a government cheque for £3600 for repayment of illegal bank charges. Asked for name, date of birth and banks from whom I had ever had loans. He already had my surname and address but had my son s forename (I apparently had the same entitlement!). He rang again twice after I ended the calls before giving up (for the time being....).
Usual nonsense about disconnecting me because of suspicious activity. Number came up on my caller display as international, so presumably a spoofed number

Had this number call me everyday. It s an automated machine call. I am going to email the company and tell them I will be charging them ?6 per call I receive plus another ?6 per minute duration of the call. And ?10 per letter / email I have to send them after.
