since i got this number over 10 yeats ago i ve been getting various calls from organisations who are incompanemt enough to either buy old out of date information, or on being told their out of date and promising to delete, fail to do so. they get more money if the info looks legit resulting in me getting more calls from the next one in line

I think this is TalkTalk marketing; when I actually spoke to a person at the other end after endless hang up, on answer calls, he wanted me to upgrade to super fast BB, why would a scammer do that? I asked him about some problems I am having with my account, he told me to call 150 for router problems & 151 for mobile problems. Raj called and said it was about the accident I had last year, said I d filled in a form asking for a callback. (I haven t). I asked him to remove my number. Very aggressive. Told me there d be a charge to remove my number from their database(!) and when I told him there would be no such charge, he said unless I give one good reason his 500 colleagues will continue to call until I cooperate.
