called my landline today 6/7/20 which is the same exchange, after a silence the phone was answered by a man giving his name and said he was calling about my government-funded loft insulation. It sounded like he was on speaker phone in a very echoey room. I hung up and have blocked this number
SCAM
Recorded voicemail saying "Final warning to contact regarding an ongoing investigation in my name, and asking me to call back on that number". No reason for HMRC to be calling me, no letter etc. This number also isn t anywhere on their site which makes me suspicious - would be interested to know if anyone has actually called it back?
called twice today insurance scam
Posh English voice followed by almost incomprehensible Indian voice telling me that they are going to shut down my internet for 7 days. Worryingly he had my name and address

Fake - pretending to be HMRC
Fraud They pretended to be HMRC and threatened to call the police on my mum if she didn't give them 2K right then. Then they called on another fake number pretending to be the police!

been called loads by this misterious number telling me that I don t top up much and they then ask me how much I top much every month so I hung up or ignored the call. don t maser any details!! when vodafone ring me my phone automatically knows it s vodafone and labels it as that but this isn t safe..
