Called me so I could make a payment as my email wasnt receiving from Very. Panicked as after the call it came up with "potential fraud" and that is what bought me to this site!
SCAM: This is the second call that I've had from this number today. First of all, an automated male voice saying “Hello Customer, an ipad has just been added to your Amazon account. If you are unaware of this, press 1 to speak to someone," The taped message was poorly recorded, and there were several breaks and skips in it. It played 3 or 4 times continuously, then a female voice with an Indian accent cut in, but I ended the call. I don’t have, or have ever have had an Amazon account
Fraud Barclays Bank fraud prevention team allegedly. Calling from a mobile. Exhausting. Hung up on me when I said “oh really, are you?”
