Thanks just had this number call but line dead when answered. Because of the early hour, worried it was family in trouble. Know better now!!!!!!
Said I had been caught on tax fraud. Very dangerous if the wrong person picks up as asks for details. Is a pre-recorded message so more than likely a scam.

These people started calling our new business before we even advertised, just from the directory entry that Xln (our phone and internet provider) had kindly entered us into. They start off, if they talk, by making out they are official, telling you that they need the meter number as it has flagged up on their system as out of contract. This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with dot com, but in fact just some 3rd party call center...
