I didn't recognise the number so didn't answer but they didn't leave any message on my answerphone. As it was a number local to me I called it back but BT said the number wasn't recognised so looks like a scammer

Received a text asking if I fancy winning a MacBook Air? With a link to follow stating There we’re 10 up for grabs! What I don’t understand is how they even know my name. I tried dialling the number and it is not recognised. SCAM!!!!

Claiming to be a company called Phones Ltd about a 40% discount code for o2 - even though that’s not my network provider. Put another person on the phone when she got flustered, male then started asking me my security question, what model of phone I had, mt network provider was etc. SCAM - avoid!! Trying to hack into my details. Do NOT give any details to this caller!!

Internet They told me they were from BT and said I needed to log on to y account so they could verify who they were as they were trying to sort out my account as it had been hacked ?. not a Chance I said asked them for there contact number so I could call them back so I could confirm who they were... they out the phone down on me.

There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. Fraud SCAM Claimed to be associated with a government scheme ECO4. This is a genuine scheme providing help with home insulation and energy efficiency for people on certain benefits. However, why would I be called from someone 100s of miles away? They aren’t being paid by the government to make these calls, so who is paying them and why? Advice is Block and Ignore!

Hello, difficult to understand caller as English wasn't good. Wanted to sell me life insurance and wanted me to answer questions. Unwilling to do so. My impression it is a scam. Be careful don't even give your name. Can't wait till the government brings in new legislation to stop selling financial products over the phone.

Call from 02034589975 the call is originating in an Indian call centre and the caller asks for name, DOB and address before telling me they've located my Vodafone account (which doesn't exist and my details were entirely fictional). The call is a scam designed to illicit bank details for a new phone contract. I would urge everyone to block this number and not give them any info at all.
