I have received calls at my home land line number as well as my mobile . However I do not answer these types of call numbers . My real complaint is that I have a new number as my old number is now my business line , they do not ring that though just my new one and no one has been given that apart from family and close friends !!So how did they get it ?

Caller hung up when I answered I am very old and these calls are such a problem

When you try to call back, you have an Asian female who just giggles and will not state which company she is calling from. Called at 12:30am with a woman’s voice screaming “Gary, Gary, where are you, you should be here!” Sounded like a nightclub in the background. Hung up and blocked the number without speaking.

I rang back hiding my number, when put through, I was told my details had been passed to them from national database, and that I had been involved in a road collision. I told her she didn t know who I was, but insisted my phone number was displayed and matched to the database. Obviously from the outset this is just a cold call hoping who ever answers has been involved in some kind of accident
