Caller advised he was calling from BT Openreach regarding my broadband being slow. Would I like to go to my router, at that point I put the phone down. He then called back 3 times!
Also claimed to be from Amazon. I told them to send me an email. English was barely understandable. Probably a scam.

cold calling - trying to sell services for business rates reduction - lady was very pushy, rude, would not listen when I said that we were not interested. I asked where she got our number/details she said from a large database they bought. I asked her to remove our details and not call us in the future, she continued to talk over me until I hung up.

This number called twice yesterday and once today. Being invited each time to leave a message on my answering machine there were no messages left. On ringing it I (eventually) got a message that the Voice Mail box was full (probably people like myself trying to find out what they were up to). My mum received a call at 9.00pm on Tuesday from an aggressive foreign man wanting to talk to her about the car accident she had had. He was a fraudster and a scammer and because my mum did not know that such people existed she asked him what accident he was talking about and proceeded to tell him about an accident that I had had last year and one that my mum and dad had had about ten years ago.
