Had a call from this number today firstly on my mobile which I managed to reject. It immediately then rang my landline which I didn t answer. Who are these people and how did they get my mobile number? When you ring the number back they don t identify themselves and ask you to leave a message. Sounds very dodgy so be aware.

I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). This is an Amazon Prime scam. The prerecorded message says that if you don't press 1 you will be recieving a £700 odd Iphone. This is an obvious scam so I just dropped the phone.

SCAM / SPAM 01484305524 Electronic female American voice purporting to be from Amazon. Doesn't ask for a name just launches into spiel. So far 3x calls today, all using different phone numbers, and numerous previous "Amazon" calls over past weeks using different numbers. Tend to be worse on a Thursday. I've signed up to the TPS service by they still keep coming through. Why can't somebody stop these devious crooks?
