SCAM this number called me to state i was being investigated for tax fraud and that i should select option 1 otherwise a watrant will be sent out for me!!!! Hung up

Junk calls started again on 2Jan18, this being one of them - had again today, the 3rd and didn t answer again; tried calling it from my work phone and get a recorded "The number have dialled has not been recognised."

This bunch have called me twice in as many days. I just had another call tonight. I m also registered with the TPS. Neither myself or my wife are in debt, but automated recordings are not to know that as the call bot relentlessly churns through its number database. SCAM, voice generated message claiming to be from the HMRC and that a fraud case has been created against your name. If you don't press #1 a warrant will be issued for your arrest.. then it hangs up. Comedy SCAM but could worry the more venerable in society.
Likewise, I received a call from this number today. I didn't answer it and they left no message. Sounds like it is probably ppi related spam?
Has rung me 5 times in the past 2 days. I have not answered any of the calls and no message has been left. I have now blocked the number.

Cold call to TPS registered line, the caller was trying to sell business finance.
Called my mobile saying they were from BT Business, asked to speak to my friend, Told them this is not his number, they asked for a contact fro him, I said you should have it, they said, this is the only number we have for him. Then asked, you do know him though? and I answered "Yeah". BT Business say the number is untraceable. they may have recorded me saying "Yeah" to use for fraud.

Scam saying from BT Internet and need to push 1 to talk to their agent to stop my Internet from being disconnected.
Seems to be a PPI claim company by the name of HA Advisory - the person spoke with a Northern accent (maybe Manchester, Leeds etc)
Their salesman told me lies about getting Government Funding for my windows, and then duped me into giving him my number and subsequently taking an Appointment Card so he could get his commission. When I found this out, I blocked their number. Utterly disgusting.
