SCAM- whole week am receiving phone calls either from different mobile numbers or London area code numbers, including this one! Saying either my national insurance number has been reported ? Is there even such thing? Or now most recently informed me of the tax fraud that has been registered on my name? Then they always threaten of the legal action that will be taken , someone will investigate me or that someone will come to arrest me unless I “press ‘1’ now” if I don’t pick up they don’t leave a voicemail..
This number is a scam. Messaged me to say my PayPal account had been locked and to follow the link within the message. I didn't and check my PayPal account and everything is fine.

This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.
Unallocated number so definitely a scammer.

02045797441 called twice today.8Jun23 First at 11.27hrs, heavily accented voice claimed to be calling from BT about my internet connection, I think! hung up. Second at 12:24hrs, identical number, didn't leave a message. We seem to be getting more scam calls than calls of any meaning. Maybe we should discontinue the landline?

My mother had a text from this number stating that their had been fraudulent activity, she had apparently spent ?40,00 in Argos this morning which she hadn t. They called to offer me a free pension review. Knew my address and mobile number. They said new regulations entitled me to check I was not being overcharged for my pension. Seemed very keen for me to get a an IFA to visit. I asked if they were FCA approved and they said no, but that the IFA s were.
