I then stopped her dead and told her she was talking crap and I had no intention of listing to her and that as soon as I put the phone down I was going to put her number in the call blocker and that she should sod off. PPI Claim Company. Using local number misleading you into thinking phoning from where you live, you then answer the call only to find it's another annoying PPI claim company.

received the same message as the other people posting here, asking to call 0844 571 5190 and quote exactly the same reference number: 778660. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.

This is completely outrageous,my 85 year old mother received a text saying they will be repossessing her house at 08:30 in the morning - this caused massive distress! I normally ignore these things but I am going to make a point of bringing some rain!
