Another male anserwed and asked why I was phoning. , Isaid Iwas told to call because my internet was being used illegally. He then asked me to go to my computer. I asked who are you and what is this about. He hung up.. I realised it was a scam

Geordie-Man asked who looks after the electric meter? I asked who he called, i.e name company etc.. and he hung up? Maybe I didn't sound like his target audience... I think some kind of Scamma!

I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.

SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM! It was the contact number on a scam email supposedly from 'Kaspersky Total Security', (number given as +???????? (????????????) ????????????-????????????????) email said Kaspersky "sent you an invoice for £539.10 GBP". I am not, and never have been, a customer of Kaspersky, so this was obviously a SCAM! DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK "VIEW AND PAY INVOICE"!!

Received a scam call from this number leaving a voicemail: £700 from Amazon and 2nd charge 2000 pound through international money transfer website. We believe this is to be a suspicious and unauthorized transfer that you have never been done before in the past from your card. Knew my name and said they were from “my local bank” and wouldn’t say which bank. “Security questions” needed answering to reveal which bank. Load of scamming, conning nonsense and when questioned they threw a paddy. Horrible, horrible people.
