SCAM 'I just received a text on my mobile phone saying "NatWest: You sucessully paired a new device. If you do not recognise this visit nat.west.newdev-secure.com to revert the setting." Spelling mistakes were in the original message. This is obviously a scam as I do not have a Nat West account.'.

Only the bad ones need a police check. I do not have their number but it can be looked up. They do not charge for admin or so their information states. SCAM - says from uk revenue and customs, recorded by woman with American accent threatening court action if you don’t press 1 to speak to an agent. Don’t do it - all correspondence from government departments come via post!!!

SCAM got called saying internet provider was going to shut down the internet within the next 24 hours due to illegal activity and had to contact them to sort it out by pressing 1. Didn't state any details of the company calling or who was my internet provider.
Fraud used the script for "there is a delivery charge for a parcel etc ... ... Suggested they go forth and multiply.

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
