Absolute scam. Claimed to be from OpenReach told me they would switch the internet off for 72 hours as our IP address was public and it was a GDPR issue. When I told them to make our IP address private as they actually own the internet, they told me they couldn't. I had to run a software on my laptop to do it. Literally do not do anything they say!

Claimed to be from o2, managed to send me an activation code from my actual O2 account then asked me to give him the number despite the message saying I shouldn’t. Clearly a scam, do not give them any details.

Suspected Spam warning on my (smart call function) number recognition. I do not know anyone from Northern Irland; neither I was expecting any call at the moment. I accepted but kept my silence, and silence was maintained on the other side as well. It seems to be an autonomous call dial (voice recognition) to check if anyone answers and consequently confirm that numbers are actively being used by potential victims. There were no further attempts to call my number nor any voice or text messages afterwards.

Lady called offering iPhones and androids for £30. When I told her she had called a business line she told me she didn't care and she was going to keep calling no matter what I said.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR AMAZON DETAILS! NOTHING! JUST HANG UP! If you have gave them the details, call your bank STRAIGHT AWAY and put a hold on your account and explain you’ve been a victim to an AMAZON SCAM! Then change your Amazon username and password. SCAM The caller claims to be from Amazon and in this call discussed my having two Amazon Prime accounts, one with an annual fee and the other with a monthly subscription. She asked whether I wished to cancel the yearly subscription. I replied yes preferring to determine the account on a monthly basis. Silent Call

SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Why don't they get a proper job.

The man on the phone was a an Indian guy saying that he was calling from virgin meadia and my iPhone address was found in America. They wanted to get my details .
