Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I think this could be a scam.

This phone number has been an issue with my house phone. This number has appeared on my VM bill for the moths of Oct, Nov,Dec,Jan ,Feb and March before I realised I had not made the call. It appears every 12 hours as a call that lasts less than 1 minute and each call is charged at 39 pence . Does not sound a lot until you add it up over the period of time which then accounts for over £60.00.

SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. I have answered then, I heard a sound, so automated system calling randomly, and when a person answers redirects to a call center. A person with likely a Indian answered after a few second and said hello and nothing else, then I hang up. very likely a scam.

SCAM pretending to be from o2 - told him I knew he was a scammer told him I knew exactly what he was about to try and attempt. He didn’t even argue just hung up.

Called stating they were from Currys PC World when I asked what the call was regarding they replied with "special offer promotion iPhone 14 pro for £35 a month." Currys don't do phone contracts as far as I'm aware. I said I'm not interested and they hung up.

This appears to be a "roboscam" regarding a so called large debit on 'my bank account ' Presumably they wanted me to give them my bank details. THIS IS A SCAM. BT need to STOP SELLING LOCAL AREA PHONE NUMBERS TO SCAMMWRS,!

SCAM Called to offer an iPhone deal and when challenged reduced price by a third and then when I told them what I was paying reduced price to less than a third of the original price including a new phone and air time etc. Too good to be true or just a scam. Caller became abusive when told I didn't trust him
