keeps calling and hanging up when call back no one answers

My number is not listed and they called my land line AND mobile! Apparently they sent me a letter, but wanted me to confirm my address. I never got anything and had never heard of them before! I told them on both occassions - they called withing 5 minutes on both lines - to take me complete details off their list and stop harrassing me or I would call the authoroties. On my question what it was about why they called they didn t answer. SCAM! They had my name.

I was called and announced my self and the line went dead after 5 seconds. I called the number back and found out it was Business Network. How completely rude they are.

We have received a bill of £8,000.00 for calls made to this number but they won't tell us who they are except they run Thai restaurants

Rang at 7.50am on 11 Feb, did not answer, but when rang the number back number unavailable, so must be a scam. A nuisance/ scam call.

non english accented man called Jack (or Kevin, or Peter)says he is from my internet provider. Asked how my internet is running and I said perfectly he thanks me and hangs up - three calls in two days, not all have had such a polite reply from me.

Left a voicemail for me to call back Lilycoms or something similar sounding. expect it will be another unwanted sales call..

House of Ladies ask for a police check. I am not sure of them. Perhaps someone can let me know if they are genuine. Usually a good agency as the type on this page should be good. Only the bad ones need a police check. I do not have their number but it can be looked up. They do not charge for admin or so their information states. Claimed to be a from a national claims body checking that Car Insurers were doing their job properly. Knew my name car model and registration-said he resented my remark that it was another scam call from them.

They ring I went to changed my phone and they hung up.

ABUSES ME

received the same message as the other people posting here, asking to call 0844 571 5190 and quote exactly the same reference number: 778660. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.

Received a call from this number, when I tried to call back it cuts straight off.

Tried ringing this number back but the BT robot told me the number was not recognised, seems a bit of a dodgy caller.

This caller pretends to be from BT accounts department offering a refund on your account. When I challenged them and told them that the number is most definitely not BT accounts they hung up. Do not give them any information- hang up immediately
