A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. A man said he has been trying to get hold of me and is from an Energy company. As I don't like calls out of the blue I told him put information in the Post and quickly put the phone down.

I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.
This is the third Telephone I have received. It is a scam for Amazon card order for £300 and Money transfer of a £1000. Do not reply.
