SCAM We received a text from +447593295889 pretending to be Evri, wanting a £1.45 fee. We are not expecting a parcel. We forwarded it to 7726, which spells SPAM.

SCAM - somebody called to ask to speak to my husband regarding his business account with British Gas. When I asked them to contact my husband's business directly they stated that the only number they had (which is our home number). They gave me a reference number and asked if my husband could call them. It all sounded very plausible - please be aware.

I received an automated voice call from this number, telling me that they were from my Internet provider and my Internet services will be disconnected due to illegal use. They requested me to "press 1 to speak to an advisor" but I hung up. I then returned the call from my landline and received an automated reply telling me that nobody was available to take my call. Convincing u if it was a scam why hv they not asked for bank details Ah so they can open account with Yr now given credentials.
