Just received a call from this number, they rang off before l could answer, but didn't dial the number back. Seems to be a lot of scam calls from 08000 numbers to the UK. You'd think the Gov'ment would tackle this harassing, persistent issue so many of us have to experience on a daily basis of upto 6 times a day

Ballantyne is listed as a Director of 'Home Cover Group Limited' yet another company offering extended warranties for home appliances. Their telephone number is 0333 2125609. Rang 6 times, had my name, said it was a survey, survey would only take a minute. I refused and I ve since blocked the number.
Fraud I received a text from this number stating I had a high value item due to be delivered to me BUT there was a payment charge that we were wanting me to click on a link to pay the “fee”. I’m not expecting anything & the link is a poor effort of a website. Be careful
My number is not listed and they called my land line AND mobile! Apparently they sent me a letter, but wanted me to confirm my address. I never got anything and had never heard of them before! I told them on both occassions - they called withing 5 minutes on both lines - to take me complete details off their list and stop harrassing me or I would call the authoroties. On my question what it was about why they called they didn t answer. SCAM! They had my name.
