SCAM Robotic American voice claiming I have an outstanding criminal case to answer. Press "1" to discuss and clear my name.....

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

SCAM: Overseas call centre (possibly India/Pakistan) pretending to be Virgin Media called asking me to install AnyDesk.com software to help me "fix internet problems", got very abusive when they realised they'd been wasting their time as I knew instantly it was a scam and kept them on the phone for a while

Fraud Called today and they had hacked my mobile accounts, changed account names, passwords, mothers maiden name etc. Called O2 who confirmed hacking. Avoid!!! SCAM

Ignored but just as phone began to ring I received a one-time-passcode from O2. This is a well known scam, they ask for the passcode, then use the passcode to enter your account, lock you out, order new handsets etc. and leave you with the £1,500 bill for a new iPhone. Don't let these cunts catch you out and warn your less fraud-savvy relatives

Scam is to get Yr correct information name dob.. address and ask u for the 2 letter and 2nd 4th letter of your national insurance number then they say it does NOT match put u in fear that if u don't confirm correct details BTW now with NI BUT with 1st letter, 1st 3rd and last letter of NI. Convincing u if it was a scam why hv they not asked for bank details Ah so they can open account with Yr now given credentials.
